Phone and Video Consultations

Because sometimes life can get a little busy

As a mobile veterinarian, we understand that sometimes you just need quick advice without the need for an in-person visit. A virtual consultation allows you to discuss your pet’s health concerns from the comfort of home, helping determine whether an in-person visit is necessary or if at-home care is enough.

What can telemedicine help with?

While telemedicine doesn’t replace a hands-on exam, it can be useful for:

  • Minor illnesses (mild vomiting, diarrhea, skin or ear infections, allergies)

  • Follow-ups after an in-person visit

  • Medication refills (when appropriate)

  • Behavioural concerns

  • Nutritional advice

  • Quality of life and end-of-life discussions

When an in-person visit is needed

Some conditions require a hands-on examination, diagnostics, or treatment. If I determine that your pet needs an in-person visit, we can schedule a mobile appointment to ensure they receive the best care possible in their home environment.

Pricing

A telemedicine appointment costs $80 + tax, and payment can be made via e-transfer or credit card over the phone.
